Description and Services
Description (Service) Day camps, integration services and Therapeutic Recreation programs directly to children and youth, adults with special needs. More detailed information and program listings are available in the Guide. The Guide is published twice yearly and is available at numerous Community Centres throughout the city for pick-up, or is also available online.

Recreation and Culture Fee Assistance Program: A system of financial support to ensure that all residents have access to municipally offered recreation and culture program and activities regardless of their ability to pay.

Application Program enrollment forms (camper information), and medication administration requests for summer camps are available online or at recreation facilities. * Forms and registration are to be completed and submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of camp. * An intake assessment must be completed to determine support requirements, call to book an intake assessment prior to registering for camp. * Assessments cannot always be conducted at the last minute.

Fees Program ; Pick up an application form at any City of Ottawa recreation facility or at one of the Client Service Centres. Bring the completed application form to your local recreation facility. The Supervisor will review the application for approval. Residents are encouraged to apply for the Fee Assistance Program as early as possible before the registration period. Each qualifying individual, or member of a family, is eligible for an annual maximum of $170 in fee assistance. Applicants are encouraged to pay a minimum of 25% of the program cost. A parent or guardian can transfer all, or a portion of their fee assistance entitlement to a child or children in their household. * Fee assistance available for those who meet the criteria ; assistance is provided by the Hand in Hand Fee Assistance Program.
